Passy to Combloux
Stage 16 / Tuesday, July 18th
This stage will feature a challenging individual time trial in the Alps, spanning 22.4 km from Passy to Combloux. This stage includes the steep Côte de Domancy, a 2.5-kilometer climb with an average gradient of 9.4%, which continues for another 3.5 km at 5% to the finish line in Combloux. This route is reminiscent of the 2016 Tour de France's climbing ITT, with some modifications. The stage will test the riders' climbing prowess and time-trialing skills, making for an exciting race. The weather conditions, particularly any potential rainfall on the descents, could significantly impact the riders' performance and strategies.
