Stage 14 will take the riders from Annemasse to Morzine, covering a challenging 151.8 km with 4200 m of climbing, including the formidable Col de la Ramaz and Joux Plane. The weather in Morzine is expected to be a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 26°C, and a moderate chance of early sprinkles. The riders will need to navigate five KOM climbs and the unclassified Col de Jambaz. The last 65 km of the race are identical to the 2016 parcours, featuring the 13.9 km climb of Col de la Ramaz at 7.1%, followed by the 11.6 km climb of Joux Plane at 8.5%. The stage finishes with a technical descent into Morzine, ending with a false flat uphill to the line. This will be the 16th time that the Tour de France finishes in Morzine, a stage that has seen victories by the likes of Pantani, Virenque, and Sastre.
