In the 8th stage, riders will traverse a 200.7 km route from Libourne to Limoges, a stage that could favor sprinters who can handle a few challenging climbs. The journey begins on flat terrain, but the landscape becomes increasingly hilly in the second half, featuring three key ascents: Côte de Champs-Romain, Côte de Masmont, and Côte de Condat-sur-Vienne. The last of these climbs is positioned just 16 km from the finish, leading into a flat final 5 km. Limoges, a city with a rich Tour de France history dating back to André Rosseel's victory in 1952, will host the finish. Riders can expect a day of moderate temperatures and high cloud cover, adding a layer of atmospheric tension to this diverse stage.
